Hamburger Italiano Style

These hamburgers are made by combining ground beef with sliced Italian sausages, among a few other ingredients and spices, to form hamburger patties.

Provolone cheese melted over the top, red bell peppers and baby green mix on a whole wheat bun.

MMMmmm Pasta!

Originally it was suppose to be Spaghetti Carbonara, but texting while buying pasta can cause you to grab the wrong box. as I learned. So, we got... linguine carbonara :) It was still really good. My mother instantly recognized the dish as one my great grandmother made. I couldn't have made this dish without the help of a very special Italian carbonara expert :)))

parmesan, pecorino and cheddar cheeses.

and you can top it with extra cheese like my mother does :)

what's not better wrapped in bacon?

Well, a lot of things, but chicken isn't one of them.

Recently I have been making dinner for my family every week night, trying new things, and this was one of them.

I made this chicken, wrapped in bacon and roasted. The bacon was first blanched.

We enjoyed it with brussels with sautéed garlic and onions and brown rice.

This was my first attempt at making Chicken Cordon Bleu, it turned out really really good :)

Ham and Swiss cheese spiraled in with a thin sliced chicken breast.

Served with sautéed asparagus, carrots, and zucchini.

With a white wine, cream sauce.

This was my first time preparing Chicken Piccata

First you prepare the chicken, then make the sauce, some of the ingredients are fresh lemon slices, capers & a dry white wine.

The Asparagus were sautéed in olive oil and pepper.

Berry Chunky Tiramisu

Traditional Tiramisu recipe minus the espresso, with whole mixed berries layered in.

Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.

It's a fact that if I am cooking for 5 people, I end up making enough for 12. Needless to say, everyone is stuffed!
